If you're anything like me then you've probably got a load off stuff that you never use lying around the house. Well, guess what? You can sell them online and make some extra cash. You can sell your old mobile phones (working or broken), old DVDs, Games, Mp3s, iPods, game consoles, satnavs and jewellery (even broken stuff). There are companies online that will pay you for all these items and many offer free pick up and delivery. All you have to do is fill in an online form then send your stuff off for evaluation. It's a good idea to give an accurate description of your products otherwise you may over value your goods and be disappointed with the offer you receive. Do read each company's terms and conditions though before you go through with any transaction as you may not agree with their policies and rules.
To be completely honest you won't get a huge sum of money for your products but I think it's better than just having them lying around the house gathering dust and then chucking them in the bin at a later date. I've sold DVDs, music CDs, gold jewellery, mobile phones and games....and was quite happy with the money I received and felt happy in the knowledge that I was recyling and doing something for the environment. Mind Body Soul Spirit

Okay, I know that this has nothing to do with working from home but I just wanted to share some news about a brand new website called Mind Body Soul Spirit or MBSS. If you're interested in subjects such as Yoga, Pilates, Reflexology, Meditation, Indian Head Massage and so on...then you will find this site interesting. The articles are short yet informative enough for anyone who just wants to get a gist of what each subject is all about. MBSS offer info on books, DVDs, CDs too, so you can learn from home.
Another reason for mentioning MBSS on here is that you'll also find details on Home Study Courses in Alternative Theraputic Treatments, so if you're thinking of changing your career or learning something new then this may appeal.

Earn Cash Renting Out Your Spare Room
I remember watching The One Show a few months ago where they reviewed renting out a spare room in your home for extra cash. Naturally, I made a mental note of this and looked it up online at my earliest convenience. Although I don't have a spare room in my home to rent out, I thought that it may be of benefit to other people who are looking for ways to earn some extra cash, so I've included it on this blog.
The general idea is that you rent out a room that isn't in use for extra cash. However, what I didn't know, but have found out since, is that you can actaully earn up to p to *£4,250.00 per year tax free for renting out a room in your house or flat - (£2,125 if letting jointly) *correct at time of publication. To qualify you must rent out a room that is fully furnished room.
Of course, renting out you spare room isn't just about earning extra money, it will compromise your living standards to some degree, which is why it isn't for everyone. For isntance, you'd have to share bathrooms, kitchen facilities etc., So, I guess if you don't really like the sound of that then it isn't for you.
On the plus side, if you don't mind sharing - you could earn some extra cash renting out your spare room. If you are intersted and want to find out more then you can read a detailed article here....
